「生活の場としてのハンセン病療養所の記録と継承」を主軸に、写真・映像・インスタレーションを用いて制作活動を行う。2歳ごろから両親に連れられ、国立療養所沖縄愛楽園（ハンセン病療養所）に訪れる。二十歳の頃に国立療養所松丘保養園（ハンセン病療養所）に訪れ、現在は松丘保養園の内と外を繋ぐ理念の元、『ばっけ通信』（ふきのとうの会）の編集長も行なっている。

He has been working with photography, video, and installation, focusing on "documenting and passing on leprosy sanatoriums as places of daily life. He visited Matsuoka Sanatorium (National Sanatorium for Hansen's Disease) when he was 20 years old, and is currently the editor-in-chief of "Bakke Tsushin" (Fukinotou no Kai), based on the idea of connecting the inside and outside of Matsuoka Sanatorium.
